You bought the new appliance — now you need it installed correctly. Highmark’s handymen handle appliance hookups and installations throughout Tampa Bay, connecting water lines, drain lines, venting, and power so your new appliance works safely and reliably from day one.
Kitchen Appliance Installation
Kitchen upgrades are our most common appliance calls. We handle the installation so you don’t have to.
Dishwasher Installation — We connect water supply, drain line, and power for new dishwashers. Old units removed and hauled away if needed.
Garbage Disposal Installation — New disposals wired, plumbed, and tested. We also handle dishwasher drain connections to the disposal.
Range Hood Installation — Under-cabinet and wall-mount range hoods installed, including ductwork connections for vented models and wiring for hardwired units.
Over-the-Range Microwave — OTR microwaves are heavy and require precise mounting. We install the bracket, hang the unit, and connect venting and power.
Ice Maker Line Installation — Water supply lines run to refrigerators for built-in ice makers, including saddle valve or dedicated shut-off installation.
Water Filtration System — Under-sink water filters and reverse-osmosis systems installed, including dedicated faucet and drain connections.
Range/Oven Install or Remove — Freestanding or slide-in ranges moved in/out, leveled, and connected.
Range/Oven Anti-Tip Device Installation — Required anti-tip brackets installed behind ranges to prevent tipping. A quick safety install that protects your family.
Range/Oven Replace Burners/Coils — Burned-out electric coil burners or damaged gas burner caps replaced.
Range/Oven Replace Electrical Cord — Power cords on electric ranges replaced with the correct 3-prong or 4-prong cord for your outlet.
Range/Oven Replace Gas Valve — Faulty gas shut-off valves behind the range replaced for safe operation.
Range/Oven Replace Gas Line — Flexible gas connector lines replaced with new CSA-approved connectors.
Range/Oven Repair/Replace Drawer Rails — Warming drawer and storage drawer slides repaired or replaced for smooth operation.
Range Hood Replace Filters — Grease filters and charcoal filters in range hoods replaced for proper ventilation.
Range Hood Replace Fan Motor — Noisy or failed range hood fan motors replaced to restore proper exhaust airflow.
Above Range Microwave Replace/Install New — Over-the-range microwave units mounted, wired, and vented.
Above Range Microwave Change Fuse — Blown thermal fuses in OTR microwaves replaced to restore power.

Washer Hookup — Hot and cold supply lines connected with braided stainless-steel hoses, drain line secured, and machine leveled.
Dryer Hookup — Gas or electric dryer connections, including vent hose installation and routing. We ensure proper vent termination for safety.
Dryer Vent Cleaning & Rerouting — Clogged dryer vents are a fire hazard. We clean the full vent run and reroute if the current path is too long or restrictive.
Utility Sink Installation — Laundry room and garage utility sinks installed with hot and cold supply, drain, and faucet.
Washing Machine Replace Supply Lines — Rubber supply hoses replaced with braided stainless-steel hoses to prevent burst flooding.
Washing Machine Replace Drain Hose — Drain hoses replaced or rerouted for proper standpipe connection.
Washing Machine Replace Electrical Plug — Damaged power cords replaced with matching plugs.
Washing Machine Clear Drain Side Debris — Drain pump filters and coin traps cleaned to restore proper draining.
Dryer Replace/Upgrade Electrical Plug — Three-prong dryer plugs upgraded to four-prong for modern outlet compatibility.
Dryer Replace Gas Valve — Gas dryer shut-off valves replaced for safe operation.
Dryer Replace Gas Line — Flexible gas connector to dryer replaced with new CSA-approved connector.
Dryer Replace Exhaust Hose — Dryer vent hose replaced with semi-rigid aluminum or rigid metal duct for fire safety.

Bathroom Exhaust Fan Replacement — Noisy or non-functional bath fans replaced with new, quieter models at the existing vent location.
Bathroom Exhaust Fan Motor Replacement — Noisy or failed bathroom exhaust fan motors replaced to restore ventilation.

Appliance Leveling & Adjustment — Washers, dryers, refrigerators, and ranges that rock or vibrate are shimmed and leveled.
Appliance Removal & Haul-Away — Old appliances disconnected and removed. We handle the heavy lifting so you don’t have to.
Anti-Tip Bracket Installation — Required safety brackets for ranges and ovens to prevent tipping. Quick install that protects your family.
Scope note: Highmark handles appliance installation and hookup at existing connections. We do not repair appliances, service gas lines, or modify electrical panels. For gas line work, we coordinate with licensed gas fitters.
