Project Scenario Overview
A prestigious Davis Islands estate required a sophisticated wall finish that would complement the home’s classical architecture, high ceilings, and curated interior design. The homeowners had recently completed a significant renovation and wanted their primary living spaces to reflect the quality and refinement of the overall project. They selected Venetian plaster as the ideal finish — a luxury surface that would elevate the space without being overtly decorative.
The scope included the master bedroom suite and formal dining room. Together, these spaces represent approximately 800 square feet of wall surface. The homeowners worked with a local interior designer who recommended Marmorino plaster, considered the most luminous and elegant form of Venetian plaster. The design called for a warm champagne tone with subtle undertones that would shift beautifully as light moved throughout the day.
Highmark handled the complete project: detailed surface preparation, color selection and sampling, application of multiple plaster layers, and final finishing. The result is a sophisticated, one-of-a-kind surface that has become the signature element of both rooms.
